We interviewed cake designer and macaron specialist Meggan Leal. Meggan is a stay-at-home-mom, vegan baker, and food blogger. Meggan jumped feet first into baking (with no experience to land on) when her two daughters were diagnosed with multiple food allergies including dairy and eggs. She is currently living in South Texas where she runs her blog “Cooking on Caffeine,” featuring vegan, allergy-friendlier recipes—including her ever popular eggless macarons.
