The origin of this cake is Mexico. In this recipe I veganise the simple sponge cake, the 3 milks soak and the whipped cream.
This vegan version of the cake consists of a light fluffy subtly chocolate cake with a pecan coconut caramel. Some versions also include a chocolate buttercream around the outside.
